Pool Technicians play an essential role in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning aquatic facilities. This position supports daily waterpark operations by helping ensure water quality, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety standards. This position performs routine water testing, adjusts chemical levels as needed, and monitors overall water quality to meet safety and health standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform daily water testing and chemical balancing to ensure all pools and aquatic attractions meet health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor water clarity, temperature, and circulation systems to maintain optimal swimming conditions.
  • Inspect, operate, and maintain pool pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of water chemistry readings, chemical usage, maintenance activities, and repair.
  • Safely handle, store, and transport pool chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with Lifeguards and Park Service Attendants to support daily operations and maintain a safe environment.
