What are part time polygraph examiners?

Part time polygraph examiners are professionals trained to administer lie detector tests on a part-time basis, often working for law enforcement agencies, private companies, or legal teams. They use specialized equipment to measure physiological responses—such as heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration—while asking subjects a series of questions to determine truthfulness. Working part time allows examiners to balance polygraph testing duties with other professional or personal commitments. They must typically have specialized training or certification and adhere to strict ethical and legal standards. Their findings are often used in criminal investigations, employment screenings, or legal disputes.
