If you’re ready to work where your skill, professionalism, and pride actually matter — this is your place.

Who We Are

For over 40 years, JR Snider has been Northern Virginia’s trusted name in plumbing and water treatment. We’re a family-owned, local business — not run by investors — and we’re proud of it. From Fauquier County to Prince William County, our reputation is built on honesty, craftsmanship, and care.

We stand on our CARE values every single day:
Curiosity – Keep learning. Stay sharp. Get better.
Ambition – Go after big goals and own your growth.
Responsibility – Deliver what you promise. Every time.
Empathy – Take care of customers and your crew like family.

If you take pride in doing things the right way, not the easy way — you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

You’re not just fixing leaks — you’re protecting homes and earning trust. You’ll handle service, repair, and installs across residential and light commercial plumbing systems using both craftsmanship and emerging technology.

  • Diagnose and repair plumbing systems with precision and professionalism

  • Educate customers on options, upgrades, and maintenance solutions

  • Install and service fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and drain systems

  • Use modern plumbing technology — digital inspection tools, smart leak detection, and paperless invoicing systems

  • Keep jobsites clean, safe, and code-compliant

  • Represent JR Snider with confidence, respect, and pride

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of plumbing service experience (residential or light commercial)

  • Tech-forward mindset — comfortable using tablets, apps, and smart diagnostic tools

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Dependable team player with integrity and initiative

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Based in or near Fauquier County, Prince William County, or Northern Virginia

What You’ll Get

Pay That Reflects Your Skill

  • Invoice profit sharing — earn more for the work you do

  • Uncapped commissions and bonuses

  • Weekly pay — every Friday, guaranteed

Real Work-Life Balance

  • No weekends. No on-call. Ever.

  • Choose 2, 3, or 4 days a week — full-time or part-time

  • Your schedule, your balance

Tools, Training & Technology That Set You Up to Win

  • 50+ hours of annual training at our in-house academy

  • Tool account — interest-free

  • Fully digital systems — scheduling, invoicing, and communication

  • Access to cutting-edge plumbing technology and support

Benefits That Show We CARE

  • 80 hours PTO + 8 paid holidays (including your birthday)

  • Health, dental & vision — 80% company-paid

  • 401(k) with 4% company match

  • $25K company-paid life & AD&D insurance

  • Short- and long-term disability options

  • Tuition reimbursement & paid learning programs

  • Employee Assistance Program — wellness, mental health, and life resources

A Culture That’s Still Family-Owned — and Always Will Be

  • Team events, family cookouts, and company celebrations

  • Recognition for top performers and milestones

  • A tight-knit crew that has your back — no corporate fluff, no private equity suits
