- ExxonMobil is seeking both contractors and full-time employees across various roles to provide reservoir engineering technical expertise to Unconventional Oil & Gas development. Work with multi-discipline teams to support optimal asset development, reservoir management, and site screening
- Leverage fundamental reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation skills in development planning, enhanced oil recovery, opportunity generation, and production/injection optimization
- The position is located at ExxonMobil campus in Spring, Texas
- Performing reservoir modeling and simulation to support unconventional developments
- Conducting reservoir depletion planning and field development planning
- Identifying production or injection optimization opportunitie
- Planning, evaluation and/or execution of appraisal and pilot programs
- Identifying key reservoir uncertainties and providing recommendations to mitigate risks
- Improving reservoir description through fluid analysis, core evaluation, well testing interpretation, and production performance analysis
Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD) in Engineering preferred - preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical;
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Reservoir Engineering
- Experience evaluating Enhanced Oil Recovery methods
- Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results while working in a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced business environment. Demonstrated teamwork and strong communication skills are essential
- Previous experience in reservoir analytical performance prediction, asset development and depletion planning, reservoir surveillance & optimization, volumes forecasting, economic analysis and data management
