Part Time Pilot Jobs in Austin, TX (NOW HIRING)

Location: Austin or San Antonio, TX. Hybrid: home-based admin work plus in-person time at hangars and FBOs across Central Texas.
Hours: About 20 hours/week for the first 90 days, with a clear path to full-time.
Pay: $25 to $35/hour depending on aviation experience. Full-time conversion moves to base salary plus commission.
RealClean Aircraft Detailing is a national brand, and our Central Texas team is the one bringing it to Austin and San Antonio. We detail and protect business jets and turboprops for flight departments, charter operators, and owners, including Permagard ceramic coatings and our Fleet Protection Program.
We are growing, and we want our first sales and admin hire to be someone who has already spent time on the ramp. If you know the DOMs, chief pilots, schedulers, and FBO staff in this market by name, you are the person we are looking for. This is a ground-floor role with direct access to ownership and a real path to becoming our sales lead as the team grows.
What you will do
Be the voice of RealClean Aircraft Detailing - Central Texas
- Answer the phone and be the fastest reply in a customer's inbox
- Own the customer experience from first call to completion report
Run the back office
- Build and send quotes, customized Fleet Protection Program brochures, and completion reports
- Keep the CRM, schedule, and follow-ups organized and moving
- Coordinate with our lead detailer on job details, timing, and hangar access
Grow the business (this part grows with you)
- Visit hangars and FBOs, meet DOMs and pilots in person, and bring back opportunities
- Turn conversations into quotes, and quotes into scheduled jobs
- Work with our lead detailer on the relationships he has built on the ramp
Who you are
Required
- Aviation background: FBO customer service or line service, flight department scheduling or dispatch, aviation sales or account management, charter ops, or similar
- Based in or near Austin or San Antonio, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between the two cities
- Able to pass an airport background check and badging
- Organized, responsive, and comfortable wearing several hats in a small company
- Available for occasional weekend or early morning work when aircraft schedules require it
Big plus
- An existing network of flight department and FBO contacts in Central Texas
- Sales experience of any kind
- Hands-on experience using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini in your work. We use them daily and want someone who does too.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft 365
- Social media experience, especially LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook for a business
