Job description

Grow your career while making a meaningful impact by providing school-based Physical Therapy services in a supportive, collaborative environment. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, with assignment dates from September 2, 2026 to June 15, 2027. Located near Lake Stevens, you’ll serve Pre-K through 12th grade students across five schools, conveniently located on a single campus within a small district in Marysville. Enjoy a flexible 16-hour workweek, with the ability to customize your schedule to best meet student and team needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate as a Physical Therapist, or eligibility for certification
  • Experience supporting students with limited English proficiency and multicultural backgrounds preferred
  • Knowledge of interdisciplinary education, public-school operations, and current best practices in PT
  • Washington State driver’s license (preferred)
  • Proven understanding and application of evidence-based Physical Therapy interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ motor and physical development, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for IEP and/or 504 planning
  • Develop and implement therapy schedules; deliver direct, indirect, and consultative PT services tailored to individual needs and assessments
  • Document progress, participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, and contribute expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
