You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, access points, parking areas, and other designated locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting relevant observations.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
