Lenser & Brush Pediatric Urgent Care – Modesto, CA
Part-Time | 16–20 Hours Per Week | Potential for Full-Time


Lenser & Brush Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our pediatric urgent care team.


We are looking for a provider who is confident working independently, enjoys caring for children and adolescents, and values providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a friendly and supportive environment.


Position Details

  • Part-time position averaging 16–20 hours per week
  • Potential to transition into a full-time position
  • Schedule will include a combination of weekdays and weekends
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Pediatric-focused urgent care setting


Qualifications

  • Current California license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Family Practice or Pediatrics
  • Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience is preferred, but not required
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable evaluating and treating pediatric patients with a variety of acute illnesses and minor injuries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and support staff
  • Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment


Responsibilities

The NP/PA will evaluate and treat pediatric patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries. Responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic testing, prescribing medications when indicated, providing patient and parent education, and determining when a higher level of care or specialty referral is necessary.
