As our Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (PDN) Program continues to grow, we are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families.

Position Overview

Etairos Health is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one nursing care to medically fragile pediatric patients in their homes throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Our pediatric patients may require skilled nursing services including tracheostomy care, ventilator management, enteral feeding, seizure monitoring, oxygen therapy, medication administration, and ongoing assessment of complex medical conditions.

Whether you have extensive pediatric home care experience or are an experienced nurse looking to transition into pediatric private duty nursing, Etairos Health provides the training, support, and clinical oversight needed for success.

This position offers flexible scheduling with day, evening, overnight, weekday, weekend, and school-accompaniment opportunities available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and the patient's Plan of Care.

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of patient status.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Monitor and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.

  • Provide skilled care including:

    • Tracheostomy Care

    • Ventilator Management

    • Oxygen Therapy

    • Enteral Feeding (G-Tube/J-Tube)

    • Airway Management and Suctioning

    • Seizure Monitoring and Intervention

    • Medication Administration

  • Educate and support family members and caregivers.

  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members.

  • Maintain compliance with agency policies, AHCA regulations, Medicaid requirements, and professional nursing standards.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.

  • Minimum one (2) years of nursing experience required.

  • Pediatric nursing experience preferred.

  • Home Health, Pediatric Home Care, PICU, NICU, School Nursing, Hospital Pediatrics, or Private Duty Nursing experience welcomed.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned service areas.
