Job description

PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in Biloxi, MS.

We are currently seeking a nurse for consistent weekend day coverage every Saturday and Sunday. This is a great opportunity for an RN looking for dependable weekend hours, additional income, or a schedule that works around a weekday position.

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Biloxi, MS
Position Type: Part-Time
Shifts Available: Saturday & Sunday ONLY
Shift Time: 6:45 AM–4:45 PM
Hours Available: Approximately 20 hours per weekend

AVAILABLE SCHEDULE

Saturday: 6:45 AM–4:45 PM

Sunday: 6:45 AM–4:45 PM

Consistent availability for Saturday and/or Sunday coverage is preferred.

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a pediatric patient in the comfort of their home.

The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift, allowing for focused assessment, skilled nursing intervention, and support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care

  • Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition

  • Administer medications, treatments, and other ordered nursing interventions

  • Assist with activities of daily living as needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

  • Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team

  • Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi

  • Current BLS certification

  • Current TB screening within the past 12 months

  • Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

  • Pediatric or private duty nursing experience is a plus
