We are looking for Part-Time Psychiatrist to join our team.
This is a part-time hourly position (10-20 hours per week). The hourly rate is $200.00. Based on hours worked, this role offers the opportunity to earn approximately $104,00 to $208,00 annually.
Hiring Process Information:

Summary of Responsibilities:
The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management services in alignment with the agency's mission and scope of practice. Additionally, the Psychiatrist is responsible for establishing and maintaining appropriate standards for diagnosis and treatment, including therapeutic modalities and prescribing practices, overseeing medical aspects of quality management, ensuring adequate medical coverage, and providing clinical supervision to treatment staff.
Clinical Service Delivery:
  • Ensure compliance of all diagnostic assessments.
  • Ensure compliance of medication assessments as appropriate.
  • Ensure that all clients have a comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessment that addresses somatic concerns compliant with COMAR regulations.
  • Ensure compliance of clients' Individualized Treatment Plans.
  • Provide psych evaluations and ongoing medication management appointments to clients

Supervision:
  • Ensure that standards are met for all Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners supervision requirements.

Evaluation:
  • Ensure compliance of treatment documentation, outcomes and treatment tracking reports for the OMHC.
  • Utilize individualized treatment tracking outcomes when assessing clinical service delivery and providing supervision.
  • Review and Conduct Performance Evaluations of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners as appropriate.

Meetings:
  • Facilitate group and individual supervision meetings with staff as necessary.
  • Attend OMHC Clinical Team Meetings.

Training:
  • Ensure the facilitation of training focused on clinical documentation and clinical service delivery skills to OMHC clinical staff.

Qualifications:
  • Must be licensed to practice psychiatry in the state of Maryland
  • Must hold a board certification in psychiatry
  • Must have medical degree
  • Must be able to work with children, adolescents, and adult clients
