Who We Are:
We're a premier provider of high quality, cost effective, special education services in Ohio. We serve 16 public school districts in our county and more than 130 educational entities across Ohio. #WeAreMCESC!
What You'll Do:
  • Design and implement educationally relevant physical therapy services using evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct activity/environmental analyses and identify barriers limiting student participation.
  • Develop goals, objectives, and benchmarks in collaboration with students, families, and staff.
  • Guide students in therapy regimens and equipment use to improve mobility, strength, dexterity, coordination, endurance, and daily living skills.
  • Conduct assistive technology assessments and adapt equipment as needed.
  • Document therapy progress, evaluation results, and implications for instruction; monitor efficacy and modify interventions as needed.
  • Support student access to inclusive educational opportunities and promote positive behavior interventions.

What You'll Bring:
  • Valid Ohio PT license and Ohio State Board of Education Pupil Services credentials.
  • Knowledge of documentation tools, assessment materials, and resources for therapy planning.
  • Collaborative mindset and communication skills for working with families and staff.
  • Satisfactory fingerprinting and criminal records check results (provided for free by MCESC!).
