Job Duties:

Our Packaging team performs a variety of essential tasks to assist in production in cheese and yogurt plants.  Packaging team member responsibilities include activities such as loading fresh products or packaging materials into packaging equipment, operating packaging machines, completing product quality checks, inspecting labels for accuracy, verifying and documenting product codes and ensuring materials are correct, completing packaging paperwork correctly, palletizing products and moving pallets, and other related duties.

Schedules:

Part-time schedules vary – current openings are for morning, afternoons, or evening shifts!

Qualifications / Physical Abilities:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and follow directions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Employees are required to stand the duration of the shift, with frequent and repetitive bending, stooping, turning, reaching, grasping and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls.
  • Constantly required to talk and hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus naturally or with correction.

Work Environment:
