Class A Truck Driver

We are currently seeking a reliable CDL Class A Driver for a part-time opportunity in Port Allen, LA.

Pay rate is $28.00 per hour. Schedule is Part-Time | MondayWednesday | 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all cargo is properly loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit
  • Obtain all required signatures on shipping and receiving documentation
  • Maintain general vehicle cleanliness and assist with basic preventative maintenance
  • Follow all state and federal DOT regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Accurately complete:

  • Vehicle inspection reports
  • Fuel and mileage logs
  • Daily log sheets
  • Bills of lading
  • Trip records
  • Expense reports

Required Experience:

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 3+ years of recent commercial driving experience
  • Strong and clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills with professional representation of the company
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card
  • Ability to maintain a complete US DOT driver qualification file
