Rate of pay: $16.00-$20.19 per hour plus shift differential
We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Security Guard. Security Guard candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality. We currently have the following shifts available: Part-time, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am.
Security Guards at The Glenview at Pelican Bay maintain a secure environment for all residents and associates within the building and community grounds. They greet visitors, monitor the inside and outside of the building and respond to emergencies.
The Security Guard will assist our clients with services including but not limited to:
  • Issuing of Keys and Monitoring Sign In and Out log in Plant Operations office. Updating contractor data, licenses, and related requirements.
  • Patrol/secure corridors and perimeters of the building and property. Record on daily log all incidents and activities noted during the shift while on rounds or at the front desk.
  • Monitor and respond to all emergency security systems. Prepare incident/accident reports when applicable.
  • Valet park and assist with transporting residents as requested. Schedule transportation for resident appointments.
  • Perform in-house mail, packages, flowers, etc.
  • Report all irregularities or needed repairs observed during daily work (work orders).

High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) or one to three months related experiences and/or training. Must pass an extensive criminal background check, drug screen and Motor Vehicle Report.
Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status.
