Job description

Position: Part Time Personal Assistant
Location: Sandy, UT
Employment Type: Part-Time
Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour
Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week

We are seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to support a private family in the Sandy area. This is a trusted, behind-the-scenes role for someone who genuinely enjoys keeping life organized, managing a busy family calendar, staying ahead of school communications, and handling the details so the family doesn't have to. If you're the person friends call "unreasonably organized," this role will feel like a good fit.

What We Offer

  •  $23 - $25 per hour, depending on experience
  • Flexible hours arranged around the family's needs and yours
  • A stable, long-term position with a family that values discretion and follow-through
  • Variety — no two weeks look exactly the same

Your Role

  •  You'll be the organizational hub of the family's day-to-day logistics.
  • Own and maintain the family calendar, including appointments, activities, and school events
  • Monitor school communications for the children and coordinate the forms, deadlines, and schedules that come with them
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and services on the family's behalf
  • Put together thoughtful gifts for birthdays, holidays, teachers, and other occasions — sourcing, assembling, wrapping, and shipping
  • Run errands as needed — pickups, drop-offs, returns, and deliveries
  • Categorize household expenses and receipts and keep basic financial records current
  • Assist with planning and preparation for family events and travel logistics
  • Take on miscellaneous projects and requests as they come up

Please note: this position does not include housekeeping.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive for errands and appointments
  • Must successfully pass a background screening
  • Exceptional organization and follow-through, with the ability to juggle several moving pieces at once
  • A creative touch — enjoys pulling together a teacher gift, gift basket, or small celebration and making it feel personal rather than picked off a shelf
  • Comfortable with digital calendars, email, and basic spreadsheets
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality with family, financial, and personal information
  • Warm, proactive, and adaptable — anticipates needs rather than waiting to be asked
