Job description

Human Resources Intern - Fall 2026
Step into the future of work this fall.
We're looking for a driven, curious, and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience supporting the systems, programs, and processes that help our employees thrive.
This isn't a "shadow and observe" internship. You'll contribute to meaningful projects across employee benefits, HR technology, data, and HR operations, while partnering with teams across Human Resources and the business.
If you're interested in how technology, data, and employee programs come together to create a great workplace, this is an opportunity to build practical HR experience and develop skills that matter in 2026 and beyond.
What You'll Do
No two days are the same-and that's exactly the point.
You'll gain hands-on experience across Benefits, HRIS, and HR Operations, including:
  • Benefits Administration: Support day-to-day benefits activities, employee communications, enrollment-related processes, and benefits documentation
  • HRIS & Employee Data: Gain experience working within HR systems, assisting with employee data maintenance, audits, reporting, and data accuracy
  • Cross-Functional HR Support: Collaborate with teams across Benefits, HRIS, HR Operations, and other HR functions to support shared processes and initiatives
  • Reporting & Analysis: Help organize, review, and analyze HR and benefits data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Process Improvement: Assist with documenting workflows and identifying ways to make HR processes more efficient, accurate, and employee-friendly
  • Employee Experience: Help ensure employees have access to clear, accurate information and a positive experience when interacting with HR programs and systems
  • Projects That Matter: Partner with HR professionals on real projects that support our employees, strengthen HR operations, and improve how we work

What You'll Gain
This is more than an internship-it's an opportunity to see how modern HR operates behind the scenes.
  • Practical, resume-building experience in Benefits, HRIS, and HR Operations
  • Exposure to HR technology, employee data, reporting, and benefits administration
  • Experience collaborating across multiple HR functions and business teams
  • An understanding of how HR systems and processes connect throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Mentorship from experienced HR professionals invested in your growth
  • Opportunities to expand your professional network
  • A stronger foundation for careers in Human Resources, Benefits, HRIS, People Operations, or HR Analytics

Who You Are
  • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • At least a sophomore at an accredited college or university
  • Interested in Human Resources, employee benefits, HR technology, data, or business operations
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working with data, systems, and processes
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious, collaborative, and eager to understand how different HR functions work together
  • Comfortable working with confidential information and exercising appropriate discretion
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Available approximately 15 hours per week for 10 weeks during Fall 2026, with flexibility in scheduling. Candidates interested in continuing the internship through Spring 2027 are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to work from our Hunt Valley, MD location; reliable transportation is required
  • At least 18 years old

Why Join Us
HR is increasingly powered by the intersection of people, technology, data, and employee experience.
Join us this fall to gain hands-on exposure to the systems and programs that support employees throughout their careers, build meaningful professional connections, and explore career paths across Benefits, HRIS, and Human Resources.
