How to make $500 a week part-time?

Part-time jobs that pay around $500 weekly typically require earning about $12.50 per hour for a 40-hour week or more with higher hourly rates or additional shifts. Roles such as retail associate, food service worker, or freelance tasks can help reach this goal, especially if you have relevant skills or certifications. Increasing hours, taking on multiple jobs, or developing specialized skills can also boost earnings in a part-time schedule.

What is the 70 30 rule in hiring?

The 70/30 rule in hiring suggests that 70% of the hiring decision should be based on skills, experience, and qualifications, while 30% should consider cultural fit and personality. For part-time roles like once-a-week positions, this balance helps ensure candidates meet job requirements while aligning with team dynamics.

Why is Gen Z struggling to get jobs?

Gen Z faces challenges in securing jobs due to high competition, limited work experience, and employers' preference for candidates with specific skills or certifications. Additionally, economic factors and changing hiring practices can make entry-level positions more competitive for this age group.

What jobs get paid once a week?

Many hourly and shift-based jobs, such as retail, hospitality, and certain healthcare roles, often pay employees on a weekly basis. Part-time positions that involve regular hours, like once a week, commonly follow weekly pay schedules, especially in industries with manual or service work. Payment frequency can vary by employer and location, so it's important to confirm with the specific employer or job listing.

Dental Hygienist

Aiea Pearl City Dental Care LLP

Pearl City, HI โ€ข On-site

$40 - $65/hr

Part-time

Medical, Dental, Retirement, PTO

Job description

During work, our priorities are 1) the safety and health of oneself, teammates and patients, 2) working together as a team, and 3) creating connections with each other and our patients. Family, progress and continual โ€œplussingโ€ as Disney calls it, food, and laughter are also important to us.

We are looking for someone with an interest to learn and grow, with a passion to help and serve others, and who is able to use their imagination to deliver care.

Monday, Wednesday, Fridays are 8-5pm, Tuesday, Thursdays are 8am-7pm, Saturdays are 8am-12:30pm. 1 hour blocks for adults, 30 minutes for kids, 60-90 minutes for SRP, opportunity for accelerated options. For new patients, it's 30 minutes with the doctor and 60 minutes with the hygienist. Floaters help to take x-rays, probing, impressions, and room turnover.

We use digital charts (Carestack), digital x-ray sensors, CBCT/pano/extra oral BW. Intraoral cameras and cavitrons available in all rooms. Intraoral scanners for digital impressions, CADCAM/3D printing are available.

We have dropped our COVID protocols but do have screening questions, Medify Air HEPA filters, UV filters, HVAC ionizers, extraoral suctions, HVE suction mirrors.

Compensation is based on experience, consistency of availability (like evenings or Saturdays), and optional accelerated hygiene. Individual bonus opportunities as well including our Aspire Higher team goals. Benefits such as Holidays, PTO, medical, BLS, and CE depend on full time or part time. Once qualified, 401k participation is available. Free parking.

Periodontal and restorative diagnostic and treatment planning skills, periodontal therapy delivery, airway/breathing/myofunctional therapy, proactive care (caries, smoking cessation, inflammatory disease), and the ability to utilize technology for education will be considered for compensation. Our goal is to make the experience relational, not transactional. We value the 1 hour adult hygiene appointment as time to coach home care and build relationships. Someone with production and compensation as their priority may not be a good cultural fit, but our bonus/accelerated hygiene can be explained in more detail.

Someone who has difficulty with change, who does not provide help unless asked for it, who is not dedicated to team members, and not in tune with empathy, will not be a good fit. If a hygienist doesn't have a patient and is not willing to help others turnover rooms, perio chart, take x-rays, restock, or sterilize, they will not be a good fit. We are one team, no task is below anyone as we are all here to create a caring experience for everyone, especially our teammates.
