Oral Surgeon (OMFS) Part-Time

Lonestar Pediatric Dental & Braces, Dr. Randy Hamilton - Austin, TX

We pride ourselves on creating positive dental experiences for children and families while maintaining the highest clinical standards.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS) to join our Austin team. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a skilled clinical team under the support of Dr. Randy Hamilton, providing high-quality surgical care to our pediatric patient population.

This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon looking to supplement their schedule while making a meaningful impact in a well-established and supportive practice.

Schedule

  • Part-time (flexible)
  • Opportunity to grow days based on patient demand

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform surgical procedures including:
    • Pediatric tooth extractions (including impacted teeth)
    • Exposure and bonding procedures
    • Surgical management of dental anomalies
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with our pediatric dentists and orthodontists
  • Provide sedation services (if applicable and credentialed)
  • Ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive patient experience
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited program
  • Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency
  • Active Texas dental license (or ability to obtain)
  • Board-certified or board-eligible preferred
  • Pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • IV sedation/general anesthesia certification (if applicable)
  • Compassionate, patient-first mindset with strong communication skills
