Job description

Freedom Village Healthcare Center has two immediate openings 1) Full-Time Treatment Nurse and 2) Part-time Weekend Treatment Nurse to join our team!
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform wound care and treatments as ordered by physicians or nurse practitioners
  • Assess and document skin integrity and wound progression
  • Monitor residents for signs of infection, complications, or changes in condition
  • Maintain treatment records and ensure timely completion of physician orders
  • Participate in wound rounds and care planning meetings as assigned
  • Observe and report changes in resident physical, mental, and emotional conditions
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed
  • Respond to resident and family concerns professionally and promptly
  • Ensure resident rights, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality are maintained
  • Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
  • Maintain treatment records, progress notes, incident reports, and physician communications
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
  • Current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse in California
  • Current CPR
  • Two plus years of experience as a Treatment Nurse
  • Clinical skills, bedside manner, infection control, nursing skills, physiological knowledge, administering medication, medical teamwork, multi-tasking, listening, verbal communication, health promotion and maintenance

Schedule:
Full-time: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
-OR-
Part-time: Saturday-Sunday, 16 hours
Salary:
$41.00 - $44.00 per hour DOE
