Location: Home-Based Early Intervention & Pediatric Services


About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing pediatric therapy team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping infants and young children achieve developmental milestones while partnering with families to provide exceptional care in natural environments.

This position provides occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to infants and children with developmental delays and disabilities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in Early Intervention (Birth to 3 years) or pediatric settings.
  • Experience treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Experience in Sensory Integration techniques.
  • Experience providing feeding therapy or supporting children with feeding difficulties.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to improve fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, play, and developmental skills.
  • Educate and coach caregivers through home programs and therapeutic activities.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation according to agency and funding requirements.
  • Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
  • Maintain professional standards and confidentiality.
