Job Summary
Passionate about healthcare and teaching? Join our team as a Nurse Aide Instructor! In this role, you will prepare students for successful careers in healthcare by providing engaging classroom, lab, and clinical instruction.
Job Duties:
Instructs a 75-hour Nurse Aide course, which may be offered during daytime and/or evening hours, and includes classroom lecture, skills laboratory instruction, and a minimum of 16 hours of supervised clinical training in a long-term care facility. May also serve as an evaluator for the administration of the written and performance components of the Kentucky Medicaid State Nurse Aide Exam upon successful completion of required evaluator training. Current CPR certification and PPD documentation are required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. A minimum of two years of experience as a registered nurse is required, including at least one year of experience providing direct patient care as an RN in a long-term care setting. Candidates must have completed, or be willing to complete, Methods of Instruction (MOI) training.
