Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), medication administration tools, and relevant healthcare software is important. Excellent time management, adaptability, and effective communication skills help balance patient care with part-time scheduling challenges. Part-time RN nurses often navigate variable schedules, which can sometimes lead to inconsistent shift assignments or last-minute changes. This can be challenging when balancing work with personal commitments or other jobs.
