Job description

UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics, located in the Triangle of NC, have Part-time openings for Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners (NP) at multiple locations. Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.
Financial Package:
  • Competitive Part-time Compensation
  • Paid Malpractice

Ideal Candidate:
  • Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • One year NP work experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting required
  • NC Licensure or ability to obtain
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Required procedures: Suturing, splinting
  • DOT Certification
  • Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required

Clinic Schedule:
  • 8:00am - 8:00pm (Sunday - Saturday)
  • Plus, weekends & holidays
  • Flexible, Part-time Schedule
