To thrive as a Part Time Nurse Extern, you need foundational nursing knowledge, basic patient care skills, and current enrollment in an accredited nursing program. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), vital sign monitoring devices, and standard medical protocols is typically required. Strong communication, eagerness to learn, and teamwork are standout soft skills in this role.
