COMPENSATION RANGE: $15.00/hour plus $50 commission for each lease signed.

ABOUT THE COMPANY: Intrinsic Development is a full-service real estate development company specializing in upscale multi-family and commercial mixed-use projects. Our organization has built more than 3.5 million square feet of projects, with an additional 300,000 square feet currently under construction. The Intrinsic Development team has successfully delivered a wide range of developments, including hospitality venues, mixed-use projects, multi-family communities, hotels, clinics, offices, and restaurants across the Midwest.

THE LEASING AGENT POSITION (Part-Time):
Intrinsic Development is looking to hire a part-time Leasing Agent, for our non-student apartment complex; SpringBrook Park Apartments. This position will act as a brand ambassador by assisting their leasing team with sales efforts.

THE LEASING AGENT RESPONSIBILITIES (Part-Time):

  • Responsible for the entire lease signing process from lead to signed lease.
  • Develops relationships with potential residents practicing a consultative sales approach.
  • Takes charge of follow-up process for all prospects and successfully determines next-steps depending on stage of process.
  • Keep meticulous notes and records of all telephone and in-person visits on guest cards and in Entrata.
  • Ensures all paperwork, documents, signatures and deposits are collected from resident before approving move-in.
  • Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices, creating a sense of urgency to re-sign lease.
  • Provide exceptional service to residents by answering any questions, submitting maintenance requests and listening to concerns/complaints, working with Community Manager on appropriate resolutions.
  • Assists with the move-in, move-out inspection process.
  • Assist with daily inspection of show units, amenities and tour route promptly freshening/clearing trash or eye sores and reports concerns or repairs needed.
  • Assists with outreach marketing activities to drive prospective resident traffic.
  • Assists with market surveys by shopping competitive communities.
  • Assists marketing team in planning and attendance of resident functions to ensure event success.
  • Assists Community Manager with additional tasks and special projects as needed.

THE LEASING AGENT QUALIFICATIONS (Part-Time):

  • MUST HAVE; Availability to participate in Saturday shift rotations (every other Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm)
  • MUST HAVE; Sales and Customer Service experience a must!
  • MUST HAVE; Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20+ hours/week.
  • Availability to work our closing shifts on weekdays starting around 1pm to 6pm.
