Position Summary:
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during overnight hours, ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests, and performing daily audit procedures to balance the hotel's financial records. This role combines front desk duties with light accounting tasks and customer service. It's ideal for a detail-oriented, reliable individual who enjoys working independently in a quiet, focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist guests during late check-ins and early check-outs
  • Run nightly audit reports and reconcile daily revenue and transactions
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports to management
  • Monitor property security and respond to emergencies appropriately
  • Complete end-of-day procedures for front desk operations
  • Handle phone calls, reservations, and general guest inquiries
  • Process payments, post charges, and ensure accurate billing
  • Ensure the lobby and front desk areas are tidy and welcoming
  • Communicate important information to the morning shift
