The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's South in Overland Park is seeking Registered Nurse to join our progressive care unit team. We are looking for positive nurses who enjoy working with a team, passionate about helping others expand their skill sets and is patient centered. Saint Luke's South is proudly a Primary Stroke Center as well as STEMI receiving center. It delivers high-quality health care to Johnson County, Kansas, and the surrounding communities. It has been certified by The Joint Commission in orthopedic joint replacement for hip and knee. Its maternity program earned the Kansas High 5 for Mom & Baby for care that supports breastfeeding best practices to support mom and baby.
Shift Details: Weekend Work Program- Nights. Must work every Saturday & Sunday- work 2 shifts, get paid for 3!
The Work:
  • Utilizesthe nursing process
  • Performspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff
  • Coordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Demonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
  • We are looking for collaborative, resourceful, and positive nurses who love empowering and teaching others.
