About Us
At Soccer Stars, we're looking for former athletes who want to use their passion for sports to inspire the next generation. Whether you played soccer, basketball, football, baseball, lacrosse, volleyball, track, dance, gymnastics, or another sport, your experience can help children build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of being active.
Soccer Stars is the leading youth sports organization serving Long Island and Eastern Queens. We provide engaging soccer classes, camps, and clinics for children ages 12 months to 13 years at schools, parks, community centers, and childcare facilities.
Our mission goes beyond teaching soccer. We use sports to help children develop confidence, communication, teamwork, and character while creating an environment where every child feels encouraged to succeed.
In addition to soccer, we also offer multisport and non-contact martial arts programs, providing coaches with even more opportunities to grow and lead.

Schedule
Most of our classes are held during preschool enrichment hours and on weekends.
We're currently seeking coaches with consistent availability during the following times:
Monday - Friday
  • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Weekends
  • 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Candidates with greater flexibility and availability will have access to additional coaching opportunities.
Responsibilities
As a Soccer Stars Coach, you'll use your athletic experience to create a positive, engaging environment where every child feels successful.
Responsibilities include:
  • Arrive prepared and on time for every class
  • Lead fun, high-energy soccer sessions for children of all skill levels
  • Encourage effort, teamwork, and confidence through positive coaching
  • Create a welcoming, non-competitive environment where children enjoy learning
  • Adapt instruction to meet the needs of each child
  • Continue developing your coaching skills through ongoing training and feedback
  • Follow the Soccer Stars Coaching Manual and curriculum

Every class is an opportunity to create lasting memories while helping children discover the joy of sports.
Requirements
We're looking for dependable, energetic individuals who enjoy mentoring children and leading by example.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Willingness to travel to schools, parks, and community locations throughout Long Island
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check
