Salary Range: $34.85 to $50.00 per hour

Job Summary:

Coordinates total nursing care for patients while in the perioperative setting. Provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary approach in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. Organizational and analytical skills necessary. Must possess a level of interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, hospital staff and providers to direct team members to ensure positive patient outcomes.

South County Health respects staff work/life balances. Operating Room RNs participate in call one to two times per six week scheduling block. Minimal call requirements including a rotation on Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements: 
•    Graduate of an Accredited School or College of Nursing; BSN preferred. 
•    Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island 
•    BLS from American Heart Association, ACLS certification preferred.  
•    Previous OR experience preferred, ability to scrub is a plus
•    Willing to train candidates interested in working in Surgical Services for a Perioperative 101 program, will also consider New Grad RN's
