RN Night Shift Opportunities at the Woods at Sparta

The Woods at Sparta is hiring Registered Nurses for 12-hour day and night shifts. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Available shifts:

• 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Base pay is up to $43 per hour, based on experience. Full-time and part-time Care Team Members can also earn an additional $5 per hour attendance bonus for working their scheduled shifts, bringing total hourly earnings up to $43 per hour.

About the RN Role

As an RN, you’ll help oversee resident care, complete assessments, administer medications and treatments as needed, document clinical updates, monitor changes in condition, and communicate with nursing leadership, providers, LPNs, and CNAs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily activities of licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations, guidelines, and established facility policies and procedures.
  • Follow the nursing model to promote holistic care for residents.
  • Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed by assigned nursing personnel.
  • Participate in admissions, discharges, and resident transfers as needed.
  • Assess changes in resident status, notify the physician and resident’s family or representative, and document changes appropriately.
  • Transcribe physician orders to the medical record and carry out orders as written.
  • Administer medications and treatments as needed.
  • Support communication between residents, families, providers, nursing leadership, LPNs, and CNAs.
  • Help maintain a resident-focused environment built on teamwork, communication, and quality care.

Required Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
