Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our growing anesthesia team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional clinical outcomes.

Position Summary

The CRNA is responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patients during procedures, and providing pre-operative and post-operative anesthesia care. This role collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver safe and effective patient care in accordance with established clinical standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia patient assessments, including medical history review and risk evaluation.
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Administer general, regional, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and sedation for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor patientsโ€™ physiological status during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Operate and maintain anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and departmental activities.
Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program required.
  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) required.
  • Active RN and APRN licensure in applicable state required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Previous anesthesia experience preferred, but new graduates may be considered depending on facility needs.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
