Job description

Overview
The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering has partnered with Boeing to create experiential work opportunities through Student Purchase Services (SPS) and the Industry Design Experience for Auburn Students (IDEAS) Program. Through this program students work as paid employees on-campus part-time while taking classes. The Program seeks to fill multiple positions. Selected candidates are provided the opportunity to serve for multiple semesters depending on program needs and performance reviews. Students will work on campus mostly completing computer aided design tasks on various software programs and are expected to have a minimum of 15 hours available to work each week.
Responsibilities
Engineering design and documentation work in support of various projects for large defense contractor.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled as an Auburn University Engineering undergraduate student
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideal candidates would meet the following criteria:
- Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial and Systems Engineering majors.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Graduating in Spring 2027 or later.
- Are a US Citizen
