Role: US-AC Plus+Network Engr+Mid. Engineer
Key Skills Required: Networking Experience, Hardware, Labs

Description:

Years of Experience: 6 to 8

Job Definition:
Acts as an extended member of customer team to support the account on daily basis. Holds an intermediate background in networking and hardware – Aruba Controllers, Airwave servers, and ClearPass Servers.

Responsibilities:
• Be physically present on-site for this role.
• Part Time. 20 Hours Per Week.
• Could be 4hrsX5days, 5hrs X4days.
• Hours are Flexible
• Perform routine checks on the network to ensure it is up to standards.
• Support Client Employees with setting up Layer 1, physical connections.
• Be able to update and modify documentation and processes.
• Work with client Employees to resolve Connectivity issues in lab effectively and efficiently.
• Identify potential issues and monitor/update the tasks.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study.
  • 2+ years of work experience in related field.
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Wireless experience: Controllers and Access Points
  • Knowledge of hardware requirements for client Aruba product portfolio: Switching, Routing,
  • Wireless AP and IAP, Controllers, SD-WAN, client Aruba AirWave, Aruba ClearPass and, Aruba Meridian
  • Familiarity of networking (LAN-WAN-WLAN).
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry
  • Basic business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, ownership, change management skills, team player and collaborates with product and support teams.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced multi-vendor environment involving quick turnaround time.
  • The ability to work ALONE, without much direction. Will be receiving requests and will maintain the physical integrity of the lab.
