Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Behavior Support Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing clinically sound Behavior Support Plans, and training teams in plan implementation. This role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote skill development, reduce challenging behaviors, and improve quality of life through person-centered, data-driven supports.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans
  • Collect, track, and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions
  • Provide consultation, modeling, and training to staff and caregivers
  • Collaborate with families, direct support professionals, and clinical team members
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to person-centered planning
  • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and agency standards
Minimum Requirements
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field (required)
  • Experience developing and implementing behavior support plans (required)
  • Experience conducting FBAs and data-driven assessments (required)
  • Current PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Clearance, and Child Abuse Clearance (required)
  • ABA training or certification (preferred but not required)
  • Strong clinical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (preferred)
Experience supporting individuals with complex behavioral needs is highly valued.
