Jamison Professional Services, Inc. ("Jamison") is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Program Acquisition Application/Analyst Specialist - Part-Time.
Location: Remote (Hampton, VA)
Schedule: Part-Time, up to 20 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: September 15, 2026

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Jamison Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Program Acquisition Application/Analyst Specialist to provide part-time administrative and technical support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
The successful candidate will provide specialized support involving federal acquisition systems, user training and guidance, system access and troubleshooting, acquisition data analysis, reporting, internal controls, and management decision support.
Responsibilities:
• Provide training and guidance on federal acquisition systems, including eCMS, System for Award Management (SAM), IFCAP, VISTA, and related tools.
Develop and maintain acquisition system training programs, conduct needs assessments, schedule training sessions, and prepare educational and instructional materials.
Coordinate with OIT, VISN, and national groups to address system-related issues, test system updates, and assist with reducing rejected contracting actions.
Support user account setup, system access permissions, security keys, and ADPAC-type user functions.
Perform data validation and generate reports utilizing VISTA, PC applications, and other applicable systems.
Support internal controls related to acquisition systems and contracting operations.
Serve as a subject-matter resource for acquisition software and related applications.
Collect, analyze, validate, and interpret acquisition data to support reporting, planning, internal controls, and management decision-making.
Integrate data from multiple systems into dashboards, metrics reports, and management information tools.
Prepare investigative studies utilizing statistical analysis to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational improvement.
Develop and refine metrics and methodologies used to evaluate NCO 6 operational effectiveness.
Provide consultations and briefings to NCO leadership and Regional Procurement Office officials regarding analytical findings and recommendations.
Perform other related administrative and analytical duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated expertise working with federal acquisition systems and applications, including eCMS, SAM, IFCAP, VISTA, and related systems.
Experience with acquisition and analytical tools such as CPARS, ProClarity, or comparable systems.
Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques with the ability to translate data into meaningful and actionable information.
Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs and instructional materials.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent coordination, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical and analytical information clearly to management and other stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting established deadlines and performance requirements.
Schedule:
This is a remote, part-time position working up to 20 hours per week. Work schedules may be adjusted with Government approval based on operational requirements.
Clearance Level Required: Employment is contingent upon successfully completing any required background checks, in accordance with applicable law.
