About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional Voice teacher to teach part-time for our Lake Forest, CA school Glee Music Academy. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON at our studio!

We are currently looking for a teacher to take over a part-time schedule from a departing teacher on Tuesdays-Thursdays from 1pm - 7pm, with possible Saturdays from 9am - 2pm. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching students aged 5 - adult in pop, musical theatre, and classical styles (country and rock is a plus, but not required). The ability to teach other instruments (especially piano) is a plus.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $32-$36/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 30 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
