Texas Care Love Field is a growing mental health clinic dedicated to improving access to quality behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and families on Medicaid. We take pride in offering compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care that supports healing and growth.

Position Summary:

We’re seeking an Experienced Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our Love Field team. In this community-based position, you will deliver mental health services—including skills training, case management, and crisis intervention—to clients with complex behavioral health needs. You’ll work closely with clients and families to create individualized Recovery/Treatment Plans, all while fostering growth and independence. Depending on current situation, this position can be part-time moving into full-time with caseload.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skills training, behavioral support, and community-based interventions for children and adolescents (ages 3–17) and their families.

  • Deliver a minimum of 30 hours of billable services weekly with an active caseload when full-time
  • Meet clients face-to-face in homes, schools, community settings, and occasionally in-office. Virtual sessions available.
  • Implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with licensed supervisors.

  • Complete progress notes, treatment updates, and service documentation accurately and within required timelines to ensure Medicaid compliance.

  • Coordinate care with schools, social service agencies, and other providers.

  • Maintain compliance with Medicaid standards and documentation requirements.

  • Continuous community outreach to promote clinic and maintain caseload which can include attendance at local events

  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and administrative staff for case coordination.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily community-based with some office activities
  • Flexible scheduling, including evening/weekend availability based on client and clinic needs
  • Full-time, 40+ hours/week
  • No supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health management, psychology, counseling, sociology, or related human services field required.

  • Must meet Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) definition of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing direct mental health services to children, adolescents, or families or have a current caseload.

  • Current and active CANS, ANSA, and Nurturing Parenting certifications required.

  • Knowledge of Medicaid standards a plus.

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Reliable transportation for community-based visits (if applicable).

  • Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License (Type C)
  • Reliable transportation with valid/current insurance
  • Clear criminal background check and driving record
  • Negative TB test (or provide proof of test within past 12 months)
  • Cleared drug screening
  • Working mobile phone

Compensation:

  • 1099 Contractor role – pay based on billable hours.

  • Competitive pay rate: $28–$35 per billable hour, depending on experience and certifications.
