Position Summary

Having a baby is one of the most special times in life, and every mother and baby deserve the utmost in care. Our expert teams with our Family Birthing Services will you support you through every step of the process, in a technologically advanced, but soothing environment.

Our suites are designed to make you feel right at home, with state-of-the-art birthing beds and private bathrooms, as well as all of the advanced medical equipment necessary to ensure safe labor and delivery. Parents and families can rest assured they are in a safe, secure environment at all times

Job Responsibilities

  • Documents a physical assessment of patient.
  • Communicates with patients, families and/or significant others in an effort to individualize patient’s plan of care to them.
  • Verifies that physician orders are transcribed properly and carried out properly.

Education/Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Currently licensed as a professional nurse by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
  • A BSN degree is desirable.
  • Successful completion of the Community Healthcare System’s Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs.
  • Obtains and maintains current certification in BLS, and other certifications as required in specialty areas.
