THE JOB:
In the role of Fountain Worker at the South End Market in MGM Springfield, you will efficiently take and serve orders, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. If you are an experienced food handler who enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests and has at least one year of experience in a high-volume restaurant and a passion for customer service, we want you to apply and be part of our dynamic team!
THE STARTING RATE: $18.05 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
  • Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
  • Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
  • Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments
  • Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures
  • Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
  • Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc.
  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Able and willing to work Part-time, 8-hour shifts any time between 6:00am - 2:45am including weekends and holidays
  • One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant is preferred

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$18.05
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
The estimated annual tips this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is: $0 - $2,900.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
