Job Summary

Control access to the event. Screen guests, ensuring prohibited items do not enter the event site. Check credentials of guests, staff and talent. Deny access to unauthorized guests. Operate walkthrough metal detectors (magnetometers) and handheld metal detector wands. Serve as a liaison between guests, hosts, EMS/Law Enforcement. Provide a professional image and demeanor. Maintain communication with event and security management to ensure a safe environment for guests, staff and talent.

This position is good for employees that are looking for part-time or event work to supplement their income or hours, with the potential of full-time at a later time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain communication with event and security management to ensure a safe environment for guests, staff and talent.
  • Crowd control, customer service and surveillance over event. Identify suspicious threats, criminal violations, facility issues evaluate and implement proper communications protocol.
  • The ability to work independently or as a member of an integral team and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness, energy, and professionalism.
  • Coordinate contingency plans with team and emergency personnel for security incidents and high-risk situations in the field.
  • Observe and regulate access to the property’s on-site guests and work personnel – cautioning trespassing violators of premise boundaries and regulations.
  • Perform security checks by thoroughly examining entry points for proper function and secureness.
