We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Perform medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Support various dental specialties such as pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and general dentistry as required.
  • Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a clean working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including X-ray operation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Certification or training in dental assisting is a plus; experience in pediatric dentistry or endodontics is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
