Job description

Salary: $20.50- $25.00

SUMMARY
Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for cutting all meat in accordance with trim specifications and guidelines. Ensures the quality and freshness of the meat products cut for display in the meat case to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and courtesy on an on-going basis. Must adhere to all corporate and state sanitation and safety procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Consistently work within to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
Responsible for smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.  
Responsible for cutting and preparing meat using knives, saws, cubers and grinders.
Responsible for ensuring proper wrapping, weighing and labeling of meat merchandise.
Responsible for adhering to all corporate meat department procedures and standards. (i.e.: case layout and trim specifications)
Responsible for adhering to proper sanitation and temperature guidelines ( i.e.: to include corporate and state inspection standards).  
Responsible for receiving all meat products delivered at store location (i.e.: DSD and warehouse deliveries).
Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to pass a cutting test. Satisfactory Performance ReviewsStrong communication skills. Basic Literacy SkillsBasic Computer skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At least 6-12 months of related experience.
