1727 - GENERAL CLEANERS / PART TIME / Beltway 8 (West Houston)

Hourly Rate: $13 | PAID every Friday!

Available Schedules

  • Monday - Friday, 5am - 10pm
  • Weekends (Saturday & Sunday), 11am - 3pm

Requirements

A General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of buildings, make sure buildings are closed securely. Reports any issues to McLemore Site Manager.

Clean buildings by emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces as assigned. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using proper cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Move heavy furniture to vacuum/sweep underneath as needed.

Use approved cleaning chemicals only with proper PPE as required and must follow Safety Data Sheets. Proper use of cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.

Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

Arrive timely for a shift as scheduled and complete all work in the allotted time. Identify and report needed repairs on equipment to ensure they are well-maintained. Participate in all safety meetings Cross-train on other duties or areas as assigned by Supervisor.

Usa únicamente productos de limpieza aprobados con el equipo de protección personal (PPE) requerido y debe seguir las Hojas de Datos de Seguridad. Uso adecuado de soluciones de limpieza para eliminar manchas y limpiar superficies.

Monitorear la seguridad y protección del edificio realizando tareas como cerrar las puertas después del horario de operación y verificar el uso de los aparatos eléctricos para asegurar que no se generen riesgos.

Llegar puntualmente a un turno según lo programado y completar todo el trabajo en el tiempo asignado. Identificar y reportar las reparaciones necesarias en el equipo para asegurar que estén bien mantenidos. Participar en todas las reuniones de seguridad. Capacitarse en otras funciones o áreas según lo asigne el Supervisor.
