Summary:
This position is a sales-oriented position responsible for providing quality guest service in ticket and concessions sales while maintaining the cleanliness of the theatre. This position allows the opportunity to obtain the knowledge and skills to become an Assistant Manager in a structured and timely manner, no longer than 90-days. Must be 18 years old or older.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Engages guest with eye contact and a smile.
  2. Uses suggestive sales techniques to inform guest of special promotions and savings.
  3. Efficiently completes sales transaction of tickets and/or concessions on point-of-sale terminals, accepts all types of payment and correctly makes change.
  4. Maintains accurate cash and inventory levels.
  5. Assembles food items (popcorn, drinks, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, etc.).
  6. Conducts theatre checks and hardscape checks outside of the building.
  7. Conducts crowd control.
  8. Cleans inside and outside of the concession stand and maintains stock of concession supplies.
  9. General cleaning of theatre and lobby areas.
  10. Enforcement of MPAA rating system.

  1. Availability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
  2. Regular and consistent attendance.
  3. Ability to actively listen. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  4. Ability to effectively communicate in and comprehend English. Speaking to others to convey information effectively.
  5. Ability to perform math calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
  6. Ability to obtain a food handlers permit is essential.
  7. Must be at least 18 years of age and complete a background check prior to hire or promotion.

Working Conditions:

  1. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling and reaching.
  2. Ability to talk, see and hear.
  3. May occasionally be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
