Duties and Responsibilities:
70%
• Provide academic assistance to students individually or in small groups to enhance student learning without compromising the quality of the student learning experience.
• Review concepts and learning objectives for courses taught in Mathematics specific to subject area to be able to assist students with course content.
• Assist students with understanding concepts presented in the classroom.
• Distribute learning materials to supplement lessons presented in class (worksheets, study guides, test/exam reviews, etc.)

• Provide basic technical support to students using the computers in the lab.
• Communicate services to students and staff
• Assist in carrying out the resource lab's rules and guidelines
• Maintain learning environment in a safe, clean and orderly condition
• Perform other duties related to the School of Stem as assigned.
• Proctor exams as needed.
Required Education: Associate's Degree or higher with a minimum of 12 Hours of College Level-Mathematics courses including one or more of the following: College Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry, or Calculus I
Required Experience: Minimum of one year of general office experience or tutoring/teaching in a college setting.
Required Licenses or Certifications: N/A
Preferred Education: Associate's Degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Preferred Experience: Minimum of one year of tutoring/teaching Mathematics in a college setting.
