Job Summary
Part-Time 6th Grade Math Teacher
St. Anselm Catholic School is seeking a dedicated, collaborative, and student-centered Part-Time Math Teacher to join our middle school faculty. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, support students at varying ability levels, and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education.
Position Overview
This position includes teaching 6th grade math to small split math classes, as well as providing instruction and support in small-group grade-level math classes for 7th and 8th grade students. The teacher will work closely with middle school faculty to support student growth and academic success.
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 5 days per week
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Responsibilities
Teach 6th grade math curriculum to small split math classes
Provide small-group instruction for 2-4 students in 7th and 8th grade grade-level math
Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
Create engaging and supportive learning environments
Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and administration
Collaborate with faculty and administration regarding curriculum and student support
Maintain classroom management consistent with the philosophy and expectations of St. Anselm Catholic School
Support the mission and Catholic values of the school community
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
