Course:Math Applications

This course covers basic math concepts and operations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, integers, and rational numbers, proportions, and percentages. Other concepts include algebraic equations, basic trigonometry, and the application of math and its use in the real world.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum: MS in Mathematics with Secondary Education certification, MS in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Teaching Mathematics possessing a secondary education license OR
    • an MS in Physics, MS in Engineering.
  • Preferred: PhD Mathematics with Secondary Education certification, PhD in Physics, or PhD in any Engineering field.
