Position Summary

The Food Runner plays a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and professionally from the kitchen to guests. This position supports restaurant, lounge, banquet, and event operations while maintaining Marriott and Blue Sky Hospitality service standards.

Essential ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
  • Deliver food orders accurately and promptly to guests.
  • Ensure all meals are presented according to quality and presentation standards.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
  • Respond to guest requests and direct concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Assist in creating a positive and memorable guest experience.
Food Delivery & Service Support
  • Verify food orders before delivery to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of meals.
  • Deliver food to restaurant guests, banquet functions, and special events as assigned.
  • Assist servers by delivering beverages, condiments, and additional guest requests.
  • Maintain awareness of menu items and daily specials.
Dining Room Support
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables.
  • Refill water stations and service areas as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service stations.
  • Stock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
Safety & Sanitation
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
