As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms, support badge and access-control processes, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and visitors entering restricted areas.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
